ContinYou - Changing lives through learning
ContinYou aims to open up opportunities for learning that will help people to change their lives, improving the well-being of individuals, families and communities.

Children and young people

Boy and girl play wrestling ContinYou provides a range of programmes to support children’s and young people’s learning. We aim to help schools improve the attainments and aspirations of pupils and communities by extending the services they offer in and around their premises.

ContinYou aims to help schools to partner with organisations and other schools in their communities in order to extend their services. We provide information, advice, training and resources.

We work to support the development of study support and out-of-school-hours learning opportunities, including reading, maths and cookery clubs, sports activities and breakfast clubs.

The National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education (NRC), which is part of ContinYou, offers support to people who run supplementary and complementary education throughout England. The NRC provides information, advice and training and has developed a quality framework for supplementary education. It seeks to raise the profile of supplementary schools, to enable them to build partnerships with mainstream schools and to secure funds to support their work.

Through its Pyramid after-school clubs, ContinYou works to promote the emotional well-being of children and young people. We also encourage young people to contribute to their schools and communities by taking part in volunteering opportunities and decision-making processes.
