Extended schools regional networking events
For information about other extended services events, please visit the events calendar.
ContinYou's extended and integrated services team runs networking opportunities for local authorities, school level co-ordinators, the community and voluntary sector, and others working in extended schools.
These meetings provide updates on developments in extended schools locally and nationally, discuss current issues and challenges, share ideas and good practise and provide advice on developing extended services.
There is no charge for these events unless specified. However, it is critical that you book a place if you wish to attend, so that we can be sure that appropriate accommodation and catering arrangements are made.

Community Cohesion Workshops
Did you know that from September 2007 schools have been under a new duty to promote community cohesion and will be inspected by Ofsted on this duty from September 2008?
ContinYou is running two workshops on what community cohesion means to schools on 28 January (in Birmingham) and on 30 January (in London). Both workshops are for half a day, from 9:30am until 12:30pm. The workshop will be run by an experienced Ofsted Inspector who was involved with the Government's Commission on Integration and Community Cohesion. She is a Teacher Trainer and advises the Home Office and DCSF on issues relating to Faith Schools.
The cost is £295.
