Application deadline: There are no application deadlines. Trustees meet twice a year to evaluate applications.
Cash for Kids is the new charity of Downtown Radio and 974 Cool FM. They raise money to provide relief from illness, disability or disadvantage among children between 0 to 17, living in Northern Ireland, and to assist in promoting the social, physical and mental wellbeing of children and young people who reside within the transmission area of Downtown Radio and 974 Cool FM.

Awards for All
Funding available: £500 to £10,000
The aim of the programme is to bring improvements to communities and to the lives of people most in need, by funding projects which involve people in their communities, bringing them together to enjoy a wide range of charitable, community, educational, environmental and health-related activities.

The The Community Foundation manages a broad portfolio of funds and programmes that aim to tackle social exclusion, poverty and social injustice. These include the following:

Community Arts Small Grants
Funding available: £500 to £1,000
Grants for community arts projects

Telecommunity Programme
The programme targets work with young people (teenagers) and people with disabilities in community based organisations in areas of disadvantage.

Local Community Fund
Grants for projects which develop community capacity and leadership;promote partnership working, within and between communities; help communities improve their local environments;develop intervention programmes with young people; and encourage more active participation by previously excluded groups in local community services.

One Small Step Grants
Funding available: £500 to £1,500
The One Small Step grant fund encourages initiatives that stimulate people into action to build a peaceful future.
