Moto Trust Community Grant Scheme
Funding available: Up to £10,000

Local charities and community groups that are located within 25 miles of one of the 48 Moto Service stations may be eligible to apply for funding through the Moto Trust’s Community Grant Scheme. Since 2005, the Moto in the Community Trust has been supporting various local, national and international charities by raising money at Moto sites nationwide and giving this back to our communities through grants. Projects supported by Moto in the Community include local schools, sports clubs, community groups, the elderly, education and environmental initiatives. In order to apply for a Grant, you should contact the relevant Moto Service Area to introduce your organisation.
Agnes Hunter Trust

The Agnes Hunter Trust funds a variety of charities in Scotland that: help the blind and visually impaired; are researching into the cause, cure or alleviation of cancer or arthritis, or supporting people with these conditions; help disabled people, including those affected by physical disability or illness and those with mental health problems or learning disabilities; assist with the education and training of disadvantaged people or with youth development projects.
Greggs Foundation Grants

Local not for profit organisations such as charities, charitable companies, churches and schools can apply for grants through the Greggs Foundation regional grants programme. The Greggs Foundation prioritises local organisations that help people in need in their local area. Most of the grants are to support an identifiable cause such as trips, activities and equipment.
BIG Lottery Fund Scotland - 2014 Communities
Funding available: £300 to £2,000

Through the programme BIG hopes to encourage more people to take part in sport or physical activity, to increase the numbers of those volunteering in sport or physical activity, and to bring communities together through sport and volunteering.
Live Well Edinburgh Fund (formerly the Joseph Thompson Mortification Trust)
Funding available: £250 to £5,000
Grants for groups in Edinburgh that provide food and food education, for example, breakfast or lunch clubs, healthy eating, grow-your-own, etc.
Sportsmatch
Funding available: £500 to £10,000
Application deadline: The panel meets 6 times per year. Application deadlines can be viewed on the Sportsmatch webpage.
Sportsmatch is an award scheme that supports grass roots sport projects that encourage participation at community level, especially youth groups.
Scottish Community Foundation
Funding available: General grants: £250 to £5,000.

Spurness (Sanday) Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund
Funding available: Express grants: £250 to £1,000
Deadline: No deadline for Express grants
Grants will be made to benefit people on Sanday via a wide range of themes, including building community capacity; supporting skills development and non-profit initiatives leading to job creation; fostering social networks; and overcoming barriers preventing disadvantaged members of the community from enjoying a high quality of life, particularly young people and the elderly.
Drumderg Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund
Funding available: Express grants: up to £2,000; Main grants: up to £10,000
Application deadlines: 1 February, 3 May, 26 July, 18 October
The Fund aims to promote community spirit and bring people together; enhance quality of life and promote people’s well-being; and foster vibrant, sustainable communities in the Community Council areas of Mount Blair (most of Strathardle and Glenshee) and Alyth.
Kinross-shire Fund
Funding available: Express grants: up to £1,000; Main grants: over £1,000
Application deadline: first Monday of February, May, August and November.
The Kinross-shire Fund is dedicated to improving the quality of life of everyone who lives in the Kinross-shire community, addressing local issues such as supporting the elderly and young people, community infrastructure and regeneration.

The aim of the programme is to bring improvements to communities and to the lives of people most in need, by funding projects which involve people in their communities, bringing them together to enjoy a wide range of charitable, community, educational, environmental and health-related activities.
