ContinYou - Changing lives through learning
ContinYou aims to open up opportunities for learning that will help people to change their lives, improving the well-being of individuals, families and communities.

News from 5th ContinYou Cymru annual conference

ContinYou Cymru's fifth national conference took place on Tuesday 17 November 2009 when more than 180 people heard keynote presentations from David Hawker (Director General of WAG's Department for Children Education and Lifelong Learning) and Keith Towler (Children's Commissioner) and from our four panel members.

The 10 workshops went down very well and ContinYou Cymru announced information on CânSing, the International Standards for Community Schools, the new a-z of oshl and Bike Club development for Wales.

The final sessions, one delivered by young people from Rhosnesni High School on peer mentoring and the grand finale on evaluation (not as we normally do it - (have you had the 'whooooo factor?') by Phill from Dynamix sent everyone away with smiles on their faces.

The conference received coverage in the Western Mail and TES Cymru (click on the relevant link to access the article).

A full report from the conference will appear on this website shortly.
