National Healthy Schools Standard (Teachernet)
The National Healthy Schools Standard (NHSS) is the mainstay of the healthy schools programme and was introduced in 1999 as a vehicle to support delivery of Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE). Playing for Success (DCSF)
The Department for Education and Skills (DfES) initiative, Playing for Success, is establishing out of school hours study support centres at football clubs and other sports' grounds.
