Parental involvement and family learning

Supplementary schools are rooted in their community and are very often run by enthusiastic and committed parents. They are successful at engaging with other parents, promoting the value of education and learning, and encouraging parents to take an active part in their children’s education.

Some supplementary schools offer adult classes (such as ESOL, parenting or family learning) for parents while children are attending supplementary classes.
