Training
Breakfast Club Plus can offer a range of sessions to support you set up or enhance a breakfast club.
Courses are designed for school staff, co-ordinators, volunteers or community leaders. Training can be adapted to suit participant needs. Up to 30 delegates can be catered for in a session.
Training is offered on a per session rate basis, rather than per head so is best booked for a group through your Local Authority.

- sustaining and funding a breakfast club
- best practice in monitoring and evaluating breakfast clubs
- activity ideas for breakfast clubs.

Course Trainers
ContinYou trainers come from a variety of backgrounds including school improvement, extended schooling, childcare and teaching. All have been assessed and quality assured in their training delivery.
Duration: Full day (or arranged to suit)

- highlight the benefits to schools, pupils, parents and the community, as well as health and social benefits
- provide information on Breakfast Club Plus opportunities
- share models of good practice
- encourage participation and discussion within a session.

Involving Men as Fathers

Involving fathers in the delivery of services is high on the government’s agenda, and is referred to in numerous documents, including Every Child Matters, Every Parent Matters, Children’s Centre Guidance, and the Gender Equality Duty.
The Involving Men as Fathers seminar days offer: practical sessions looking at change; an audit tool; a copy of the Top Dads toolkit or I’m a better dad now; lunch and refreshments.
