ContinYou offers consultancy to schools, particularly in relation to the development of extended school provision, community links, study support/out-of-school- hours learning, parental involvement and family learning.

Tailor-made consultancy for extended schools
ContinYou offers a wide range of tailor-made training and consultancy packages aimed at helping schools to deliver the core offer through effective partnerships with other agencies in their local communities.
Evaluation
Have your project independently evaluated by ContinYou, with expertise in handling qualitative data, questionnaires, focus groups etc.
Extended school development
Since October 2003 ContinYou has provided The Extended Schools Support Service (TESSS) to extending schools across England. Our team provides a range of services, including planning for extended schools and full-service extended schools, identifying local need and sharing good practice.
Extended school self-evaluation toolkit
A service to support schools to use the toolkit, which consists of a framework and audit tools, based on the DCSF areas of extended school provision.
Facilitation training
A practical, generic training package on developing facilitation skills for working with parents and other adults in a variety of situations.
Family learning and parental involvement
We offer consultancy at both strategic and operational levels to support the development of family learning provision and parental involvement. Our most successful programme, Share, and its complementary programme, Share Plus, trains practitioners to run programmes for parents and carers.
Governance
ContinYou works with local authorities, governor co-ordinators and extended schools to look at new school structures and governance issues.
Looked-after children and study support (Taking Part resource pack)
Services to support the implementation of the Taking Part resource pack, which aims to improve outcomes for looked-after children through entitlement to oshl for children in care.
Men-friendly schools
Training and workplace learning, as well as developing a portfolio and obtaining accreditation, is part of this package that trains staff to actively involve male parents and carers in their children's learning.
School-based community learning
Helping schools to work more closely with their communities by conducting consultations and audits to idenfity the needs of the local community.
Seeing is believing
advocacy programme targeted at senior staff in LAs and local strategic bodies, comprising of a one-day session of visits to schools and other providers of extended services to discuss the impact of their work.
Strategic aims progress review
Review your progress towards achieving strategic aims. For example, ContinYou has worked with extending schools and specialist colleges to evaluate progress and produce action plans.
Workforce remodelling
ContinYou will assess common workforce planning issues in terms of core skills or knowledge to help your school produce a workforce development plan.
