Men-friendly schools

Some primary schools employ a predominantly female workforce and staff may not have had specific training to work with men. Actively involving male parents and carers therefore can be challenging.

Research has shown (and you know from experience) that where the main male carer is involved with their children’s education, the children are more likely to reach their potential. ContinYou’s ‘Developing Men Friendly Organisations' support package includes training and workplace learning over a period of three months. Participants may develop a portfolio and obtain OCN accreditation at Level 3.
