The Coventry Supplementary Schools Project
In the Summer 2006 the National Resource Centre (then Resource Unit) was contracted by Coventry City Council’s Minority Group Support Services (MGSS) to deliver a brand new project to support and develop supplementary schools in the City.
Our aims are to:
- raise the profile of supplementary schools in Coventry
- improve the quality of the City’s supplementary schools
- create new partnerships with mainstream schools and other key partners
Coventry's Directory of Supplementary Education
The Directory lists the details of over 25 voluntary organisations running supplementary classes in Coventry. It is aimed at parents, pupils, teachers and the wider community and is available in schools, libraries and community hubs across Coventry.
