The NRC has developed out of the Resource Unit for supplementary and mother tongue schools, with generous funding from the DfES (now DCSF) and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
You’ll find details here of our campaigns as well as our work on training, on quality and on fundraising. You can find out more about our project work, and about the local authorities that are doing good work for supplementary education.
You’ll also find details of some of the areas and issues we need your help with, as well as easy ways of getting in touch with us.
We have just developed a series of good practice guides that explain the extraordinary diversity of the supplementary schools sector.
We hope you find the website helpful and easy to use, and we look forward to hearing from you.
