Bike Club
ContinYou, UK Youth and and the CTC - the national cyclists' organisation, set up bike clubs in cluster groups across England last summer. Funded by Cycling England and the Department for Transport over two years, Bike Club is an inspirational programme that builds cycling into the everyday lives of children and young people.
Cycling is not only about getting from A to B. It is about independence, health and well being, fun and adventure. This programme builds on young people’s needs and passions and is a safe and sustainable tool for engaging young people and opening up new opportunities.
If your school is already involved in a similar bike project, we would love to hear from you. Please email Emma Kerr at emma.kerr@continyou.org.uk to tell us about your bike project or for more information.

Grants and membership
If you would like to set up a Bike Club activity, and you are located in one of the areas where we operate, you can apply for funding. First, we recommend you contact your local Bike Club Development Officer. They will help you apply for a grant. Download the relevant documents from the Bike Club website.
Even if you are not located in one of the areas where we work, you may still be able to join the Bike Club network and benefit from a range of support. Again, speak to your nearest Bike Club Development Officer, and then complete an application form.
You can find your nearest Bike Club Development Officer on the Bike Club website.
