An Invitation to join the Learning Exchange
If you work in Wales, developing, running and supporting out-of-school-hours learning and Community Focused programmes and activities, the Learning Exchange is a useful network to join.
The Learning Exchange offers
- A forum and blogging facilities where you can link up with colleagues, in Wales or elsewhere - be they in schools, local authorities or communities - to share news, good practice, tips, web links, guidelines and advice, or ask questions.
- A weekly e-newsletter updating about what is new on the site, including information about what is being discussed on forums or blogs, and which allows practioners to tap into a wide pool of expertise.
- Uploading of your own documents and resources to share with other people.
- An extensive and expanding library of resources which also has a link to the www.continyou.org.uk/wales.
- Inspiration and food for thought among the Library Gems, which is a store of resources, news, research, videos and podcasts that is added to each week.
- News pages to keep you abreast with information about events, policy and funding news. Wales-relevant content and news are added to the site regularly.
- An Award for good practice.
The site moderator keeps information and connections moving around the site, and can help you find the information you need, or put you in touch with people who can help you.
