National breakfast club register
Breakfast Club Plus is dedicated to the development of breakfast clubs across the whole of the UK. Our experience of working with schools and other providers of clubs has lead us to realising the value of sharing practice, resources and knowledge as widely as possible. With this in mind, and through the continued support of Kellogg’s, we are working to extend our existing network even further by launching the first ever national breakfast club register.

Why join the Breakfast Club Plus register?
There are many advantages to registering:
- Parents can search for breakfast clubs in their locality.
- Clubs can submit information on their provision, as well as using the register to find out about others in their area.
- Clubs currently operating in isolation will be able to share resources, experience and knowledge.
- It is a brilliant opportunity for clubs to promote and advertise themselves.
- Potential funders can see the range and location of provision they might support.
- By developing a database of interested individuals we can better demonstrate the demand for and interest in breakfast clubs to policy-makers and funders, and create an easier way to get information delivered to your doorstep!
We love hearing about your great breakfast clubs, and the good practice that is happening in breakfast clubs nationwide, so if you would like to provide us with more information and you would like to submit a case study about your club, then please email us.
How to register
To become one of the first clubs to sign up simply visit our online registration page and fill in your details. Once we have processed your information the details you have entered will be available, through a searchable database, to the other breakfast club co-ordinators, parents and local authority staff who visit our site.
What happens next?
Once you have visited our online registration page and submitted in your details, the information you provide will be passed to a member of the Breakfast Club Plus team. They will upload your details into our on-line database. (Please note, it may take a few days to process your details.) Your details will then be published on-line. If you would like to sign up, but do not wish for your details to be published, then please tick the box at the bottom of the registration form.

New e-bulletin
The Breakfast Bulletin has been updated: the current termly publication will be replaced with a monthly e-newsletter – enabling clubs to access up-to-the-minute information in bite-sized chunks. We hope this will enable you to keep your clubs current, and up-to-date with the latest rules and regulations. It will also offer a monthly digest of inspirational ideas and activities for you to offer in your club.
We will automatically send the e-newsletter to all current members and those who have previously expressed an interest in breakfast clubs. To sign up for the e-bulletin, simply fill in your details in the box on the right hand side of the screen.
Details provided for the purpose of managing this subscription will be stored on a ContinYou database. If you would rather we did not share your details with any third parties, please e-mail us to let us know.
View the breakfast bulletin archive for great ideas, good practice, activities and delicious, nutritious recipes.
Future plans
Over the course of the year we will be developing new materials, case studies and resources relevant to secondary schools, community-run breakfast clubs and clearer guidance on variations to policy and practice in England, Wales and Scotland.
Lets work together
'One of the best ways of supporting best practice and driving up standards is by helping people see over the fence. We are all interested in helping start provision where there is none, helping good clubs become great and great ones, outstanding!' A message from Paul Morrish, Deputy CEO ContinYou about the National Breakfast Club Register.
