Core offer toolkit

This toolkit offers guidance, support and resources for professionals involved in the delivery of the 'core offer' of  extended services in or around schools and children's centres. The toolkit introduces the core offer and includes sections dedicated to swift and easy access and parenting support.

Each chapter of the toolkit includes:

• content sections describing particular areas of work, followed by key questions, and a simple self-evaluation and planning tool
• up-to-date case studies of developments in individual schools, clusters, children’s centres and localities
• detailed references to useful materials and websites.

Other features include:

• a detailed contents page, allowing easy navigation of the toolkit
• an appendix with ideas for activities for those developing swift and easy access, plus a number of useful templates on partnership agreements.

This toolkit, written by ContinYou, was commissioned by the Government Office for London. It may be used across the country, where appropriate.
