Welcome to the website of the National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education (NRC). This is the only website dedicated to providing information, advice and resources to supplementary schools across England.
What’s new
- On Tuesday 9 June, Bright Education Centre (Somali supplementary school in Lambeth) was named the Third sector/community organisation of the year at the London Education Partnership (LEPA) awards ceremony which was organised by the Institute of Education. The judging panel was chaired by Sir Mike Tomlinson who was hugely impressed with the presentation made by the head of school, Issa Issa, and a handful of his students who also attend Lambeth mainstream schools which helped to secure the award.
The award ceremony took place in the beautiful Painted Hall, at the Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London.
Over the next few days photos of the awards ceremony will be available at www.lepawards.org.uk.
