About us
Since April 2009, ContinYou has managed the contract for Ealing’s Parent Partnership Service.
What is a Parent Partnership Service?
Parent Partnership services provide advice, info and support to parents of children with special educational needs. Every borough has one. Parent Partnerships are independent of the Local Authority and give parents independent, impartial advice.
In Ealing, the service is provided by ContinYou. We are here to help you to represent your views and the best interests of your child. This is your service so please feel free to give us your views.
Please see our recent feedback survey to see what parents have been saying about us!
Who are ContinYou?
We are a charity and one of the UK's leading learning organisations. ContinYou aims to improve people’s lives and opportunities through education. If you would like to learn more about the other areas that ContinYou is involved in then please take a look at our current list of projects.
Who’s in the team?
Alex Webber - Manager and caseworker
Marie Holmes - Caseworker
Harinder Ghatora - Business Support Officer
The team are all from Ealing or nearby Harrow, and we are passionate about providing a service which will meet your needs and wants. Please give us a call if there is any issue – great or small – you think we could help you with.
What can we help with?
Anything about your child’s special educational needs and their education. This could include:
- supporting you at meetings with the school or the Local Authority
- helping you put together paperwork
- explaining the special educational needs process
- supporting you through the statutory assessment and statementing process
- introducing you to other parents in a similar position through our support group
- helping you feed back your views to the Local Authority through our focus groups
- assisting you with issues like exclusion or moving schools.
Where are we based?
Our office is at the Lido Centre on Mattock Lane in West Ealing. If you’re a local, it used to be an old cinema.
We’re in the same building as various other voluntary and community organisations so on the day of your visit, you may find yourself combining a visit to Ealing Link or Mencap with an appointment with CEPPS!
