Share practitioner training programme
Training is usually arranged for 2 consecutive days, with a third half day follow-up arranged at the end of the second day. Timings for both days usually run from 9.30am until 4.30pm, with one hour for lunch and half an hour break in the morning and the afternoon. Timings can be negotiated, and if necessary, course content can be re-arranged prior to the date.

Day one
- Welcome and introductions
- The ‘Share Family Learning Programme’ – a presentation
- Partnerships with parents/carers – an activity
- Self-esteem and learning – an interactive presentation
- The Share materials – exploration
- The Share materials – feedback
- Recruitment of families – an interactive presentation
- Organising Share – an activity
- Summary of day one and information about day two
Day two
- Introductions and questions from day one
- Accreditation of parents’ learning – an interactive presentation
- Develop an integrated approach - a presentation
- Self-esteem and learning – an activity
- Adult learning – an interactive presentation
- Groupwork – a presentation
- Quality assurance – an interactive presentation
- The finishing touch
To set up a Share training event in your region, the following costs will be incurred:
- £2,000.00 (Trainer for 2.5 days to train upto 20 participants)
- £100.00 (approximate cost of p&p of materials)
- £55.00 (approximate cost per training pack, per delegate)
Travel and accommodation for the trainer are not included in these costs. It is the responsibility of the regional person to arrange a venue, lunch and breaks.
