Evaluation
Skilled for Health evaluation published
ContinYou managed the evaluation of Phase two of the national Skilled for Health programme, on behalf of the Department of Health and the Department of Business Innovation and Skills. The evaluation, which was carried out by the Tavistock Institute and Shared Intelligence, found that attendance on a Skilled for Health programme could result in both health and learning gains.
Importantly, the evaluation report presents clear evidence of the success of the programme. It also contains case studies on a number of the Phase two Skilled for Health sites. The full report plus a summary of the key findings can be downloaded below. The report, which highlights a number of critical success factors in setting up Skilled for Health programmes, is being used as one of a range of tools to assist in the extension of the programme.
