Achievements 2010-2011
- 1,030 organisations have ‘joined the movement’ since we launched our membership scheme in November 2007.
- 232 new supplementary schools joined for the first time in 2010/11 which well exceeded our target of 150 new schools engaged.
- We also have a total 69 signed up Associated Members of which 56 joined for the first time this year. This is an excellent endorsement of our work by local authorities and CVSs.
- 220 schools have completed the Bronze Quality Framework level to date with 100 of them doing so since April 2010. In just 12 months we will have doubled the number of schools engaging in the Quality Framework!
- There are 30 (17 in 2010/11) schools with a valid Silver Award, and 34 (22 in 2010/11) schools with a valid Gold Award. So here too we have more than doubled the number of schools with higher level awards.
- Eighty per cent of supplementary schools said they have benefited from being an NRC member. More findings are available in the evaluation report.
- 388 supplementary school staff attended our training courses between April 2010 and March 2011.
- The NRC website attracted over 46,000 hits between 1 April 2010 and 31 March 2011.
